Causes of Dry Skin

Dry skin can be the cause of lack of Vitamin A, B, and E in the body. Literally the skin is dry because of the inability of the skin to retain moisture. For signs of extremely dry skin are chapping, cracking and dehydrated skin. It is often more felt than see, but to some people it is noticeable and very embarrassing. Dry skin is also problem during winter and when wind is howling but usually it could come from using harsh cleansers. Dry skin condition arises more due to nutrition deficiencies and poor diet.
In the treatment, bathing is preferably in cool or lukewarm water with baby mild soap. And before using for some treatment, prevention, and medications it would be proper to understand and determine the real causes of the skin condition.
