There are a variety of herbs and essential oils which have been used as natural remedies for anxiety for ages. Now you can go out and get some of these in dried - or, depending on where you live, even fresh form, but the problem with using herbs for anxiety that haven’t been selected carefully, tested, and formulated into the most effective mixture and medium for use, is the variation in content of active ingredients and the necessity to essentially become an experienced herbalist to create consistent and useful herbal remedies. It’s not impossible, of course, and it is really fascinating to work with natural ingredients and learn about traditional formulas, but I don’t suppose it has that much appeal for a lot of busy people.
