I have been a big fan of online shopping since I got my first Internet dial-up connection. I remember America Online version 1.0! Back in those days it was nothing to mail a check for payment for something bought online. But these days – of course – it’s a brand new ballgame. More people than ever are shopping online and paying with their credit card. In fact, I can’t recall the last time any Internet shopping site asked for a check payment. I don’t think any legitimate e-store owner would ever dream of asking for one. Not when they can establish a merchant account option.
